[opensuse-kde] TW ksplashqml segfault error 4 trying to start plasma (black screen)
i845G i586 TW 20180410 Nothing shows up in /var/lib/systemd/coredump/.
From journalctl tail: $SUBJECT based on dmesg. t2240 [RPM][12313]: Transaction ID 5ad1b273 finished: 0 t2240 kdeinit5[1144]: org.kde.kcoreaddons: Expected JSON property "X-KDE-OnlyShowOnQtPlatforms" to be a string list. Treating it as a list with a single entry: "xcb" t2240 ksplashqml[12513]: QOpenGLShader: could not create shader t2240 kernel: ksplashqml[12513]: segfault at 0 ip 00000000 sp bfb27edc error 4 in ksplashqml[4b3000+9000] t2240 org_kde_powerdevil[1300]: powerdevil: ACTIVE SESSION PATH CHANGED: "/org/freedesktop/login1/session/_32" t2240 org_kde_powerdevil[1300]: powerdevil: Current session is now inactive t2240 nmbd[999]:
Any clue here that suggests a missing dep or package rather than a bug, something that I can to do to not have a black screen that eventually aborts the useless session? ^ Broken or incompatible graphics driver. Can you reproduce the crash with "ksplashqml --test"? If so, please test also "LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 ksplashqml --test" and "QT_LOGGING_RULES=*.debug=true ksplashqml --test".

This should still not happen, can you get a backtrace of the crash so the nullptr deref can be avoided? Cheers, Fabian
