I just found out that apparently mousekeys is active in SuSE 9.1 (at least on the 64bit version, haven't tested 32bit). I couldn't find any documentation for mousekeys or any reference to it in control center. <-- I can't believe that! Anyway, from googling the issue, I found a couple references to accessX. As I was reading about this software, looking for most recent - best solution, came accross a document that suggested accessx might be incorporated into XFree 4.02 +. Said to enable mousekeys, hold left-shif, left-alt, and num lock to enable. Sure enough! Thought is should be allot easier to find out how to enable such a simple MOST NEEDED feature. FYI B-)

Try looking in the directory /etc/X11/xkb aand it's subdirectories. The README files are probably a good place to start, although you will have to decide if they are adequate. SuSE 9.0 also had mousekeys, don't know about 8.2 -- opinions personal, facts suspect. http://home.arcor.de/36bit/samba.html

there is no man for mousekeys. there is no results in search with suse-help-center for mousekeys. find /etc -name mousekeys returns to files in X11/kbd. In Control Center, there is reference to stickykeys, bouncekey, etc. NOT mousekeys In Yast, under keyboard or mouse configuration, there is no mention of mousekeys. In Sax, there is a reference to Accessx, with no mention of mousekeys in Accessx, keyboard, input, or mouse. This is my point. Even a message like "No mouse detected, would you like to enable mousekeys?" would be nice. There *should* be a reference to mousekeys in control center allong with the other stickykeys, bouncekeys, etc. There "should* be a man page for mousekeys.
