[opensuse-kde] Akonadi Nepomuk isn't running

Hello Mates, akonadi tries to come up. But he tells me, that nepomuk isn't running. If i try to start manualy nepomukserver he tells me: NepomukServer(14860): KUniqueApplication: Cannot find the D-Bus session server: "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken." NepomukServer(14859): KUniqueApplication: Pipe closed unexpectedly. Does anyone know, what is this? -- Sincerely yours Sascha Manns open-slx GmbH openSUSE Member openSUSE Community & Support Agent openSUSE Ambassador Web: http://www.open-slx.de openSUSE Marketing Team Web: http://www.open-slx.com openSUSE Build Service openSUSE Medical Team Web: http://saschamanns.gulli.to Blog: http://saigkill.wordpress.com ClaimID: http://claimid.com/saigkill -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

I'm waiting about nepomuk from more than one year. It was working with the virtuoso backend, But there's not a such config available in STABLE. Too bad. Raymond has some builds but more for factory. A working installation have trouble found also in dmesg [ 2542.025122] nepomukservices[4529]: segfault at 0 ip b5369b8e sp b2dbf8a0 error 4 in libstreamanalyzer.so.0.7.0[b5358000+6f000] [ 3637.916808] nepomukservices[10025]: segfault at 0 ip b52e9b8e sp b2ea18a0 error 4 in libstreamanalyzer.so.0.7.0[b52d8000+6f000] [ 5524.211813] nepomukservices[10447]: segfault at 0 ip b530db8e sp b30c58a0 error 4 in [ 7661.629298] nepomukservices[11289]: segfault at 0 ip b53e5b8e sp b319d8a0 error 4 in libstreamanalyzer.so.0.7.0[b53d4000+6f000] [ 9406.880236] nepomukservices[12437]: segfault at 0 ip b53ecb8e sp b31a48a0 error 4 in libstreamanalyzer.so.0.7.0[b53db000+6f000] [11107.130125] nepomukservices[12836]: segfault at 0 ip b52ebb8e sp b30a38a0 error 4 in libstreamanalyzer.so.0.7.0[b52da000+6f000] I trying to convince me to have a "social" desktop with a full search integrated only ready for kde 4.5 -- Bruno Friedmann -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Which one are you missing ? In my repository http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/rwooninck:/UNSTABLE_Playgrou... I have builds for Soprano (with the virtuoso backend) for the following setup's: 11.1 (Factory, Stable and KDE:43 repositories) 11.2 (Factory, Standard, and KDE:43 repositories) Factory The KDE4 Unstable repo is not included as that the packages in my repo are based on the sources available in KDE4:Unstable. As that 4.3.4 will move soon to the standard 11.2 repo, there should be no need to have Stable for 11.2 included. Hi Raymond, I've switch to KDE4:STABLE as soon as it was proposing 4.3.4 (One week before now) I was hoping to find your build inside it, but none are actually present. nor in http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Playground/openSUSE_11.... I'm trying to have the best of kde4 and fresh but stable, with the minimal number of repositories. ( I want to finalize that for normal end-user ) So if I understand correctly your message we should see the virtuoso/soprano couple inside http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Playground/openSUSE_11.... in a few days ? -- Bruno Friedmann -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org

Hi Bruno, for the time being I will add the Stable repo for 11.2

These packages will never be part of 4.3.x as that they are based on the 4.4 sources. What I was trying to indicate is that the KDE version 4.3.4 will move into openSUSE 11.2 standard repo very soon as an online update. This means that the repo's openSUSE 11.2 and Stable will contain the same KDE version.
