[opensuse-kde] KR412 and dependencies (libIlmImf,...)

Hi. libIlmImf.so.7 and a few other dependencies are missing and therefore KR412 cannot be installed on openSUSE 13.1. KDF is also not building for 13.1. :-( Markus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Hi Markus, which other dependencies are those? And are you sure it's libIlmImf.so.7? If so, which package indicates about missing dependency? Cheers, Hrvoje

See conflicts.txt

Why would I be unsure?

kdelibs4, kdebase4-runtime,... Which OS are you guys using, btw? I want to switch to that OS. Obviously it's not 13.1... And please enable KDF:13.1. Tweaking repos every few weeks sucks. Thanks

Why would I be unsure? I just asked as there's no libIlmImf.so.7 in 13.1, but in 12.3. All of those conflicts indicate you are trying to use KR412 for 12.3 on 13.1 distribution.

Oh yes, I misedited a repo config line. Such great usability and low margin of error with the whole repo tweaking business every few weeks... Thanks anyway. Am Sonntag, 22. Dezember 2013, 17:19:28 schrieb šumski:

Hi Markus, KDF will not be enabled for 13.1 and will only build for Factory. As agreed some time ago, the RC candidates would be provided in the correct repository. So 4.12 RC was provided in KR412. For those that couldn't wait and wanted to try the 4.12 Beta already, we enabled 13.1 in KDF to make validate the build against 13.1 and to see which other packages we might have to update. So there shouldn't be any reason for you to switch every few weeks, unless you want to follow exactly every new release that comes from KDE, every single alpha, beta, RC, etc. If that is what you are aiming for, then maybe you should consider to start using KUSC. It is unstable, but provided the latest KDE release. But for those that just want to follow the latest official releases, then the KRXY repo's should be utilized.
