Logout dialog frame problem

Hi, I've downloaded a nice logout logo from kde-look.org, unfortunately I now find myself with a large white frame around the logo and distorted buttons. I've looked in the Control Center, /opt/kde3/share/ and asked at kde-look.org. But still haven't found out how to remove the frame. Can somebody offer a suggestion or advice? Thanks. Hi Robert, My first thought was to open it in the GIMP and transform or scale it to fit. Either that, or paste it onto a larger canvas in a color of your choice. Good luck & regards! - Carl

I'm sorry, but you misunderstand. Look at: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=26896 There isn't suppost to be a frame around the picture. On my system there is and I'd have to shrink the picture to compensate for the frame. As it is, it's stretched the dialog box so that all the buttons are 3 times their normal size. The frame is also evident in the Help > About KDE dialog. Normally you wouldn't notice it because the default pictures for both these dialog's are small with a white background. So that you land up with a picture of Konqi in a recessed area. Now the logout dialog picture is slightly larger with a coloured background (showing up the white frame) and the picture I've used for the "About KDE" dialog has a clear background (also highlighting the frame). You can try this and see what the results on your system are: - for the About KDE dialog mkdir -p ~/.kde/share/apps/kdeui/pics/ ln -s /opt/kde3/share/icons/default.kde/128x128/apps/tux.png \ ~/.kde/share/apps/kdeui/pics/aboutkde.png - and the logout logo mkdir -p ~/.kde/share/apps/ksmserver/pics/ ln -s /opt/kde3/share/icons/default.kde/128x128/apps/tux.png \ ~/.kde/share/apps/ksmserver/pics/shutdownkonq.png BTW, you wont see the stretched key's with this test as Tux is too small, but Tux's background is clear so the white background is coming from somewhere else.
