[opensuse-kde] KDE:Extra Repository
Hello Mates, i have some Questions about that Repository. 1.) I have 3 Packages (assuma, skrooge and kpassgen). Have i full control in this package? So i can use osc co and ci, or must i use submitrequest? 2.) I've seen that the publish is diabled. Can i enable this? Have a nice day... -- Sincerely yours Sascha Manns open-slx GmbH openSUSE Community & Support Agent openSUSE Marketing Team Blog: http://saigkill.wordpress.com Web: http://www.open-slx.de (openSUSE Box Support German) Web: http://www.open-slx.com (openSUSE Box Support English)

The maintainership rules are explained in http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:KDE_extra_repository (in short, new/unknown people should SR, people can get maintainership for their packages, repo-wide maintainership is only for people who care about the repo as a whole). Do you want a maintainer for those 3 packages?

Publish disabled where? I see it enabled (unless somebody has switched it meanwhile). -- Lubos Lunak openSUSE Boosters team, KDE developer l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
I have some packages I am willing to maintain as well: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=home%3ATheBlackCat%3Akde These are: from its own website: eric from kdeplasma-addons trunk: krunner-dictionary, plasma-containment-groupingdesktop from kde-look.org: plasmoid-flexible-tasks, plasmoid-playwolf, plasmoid-playwolf-elements, plasmoid-runcommand, plasmoid-yaSDP Not all of them build for all reposititories. plasmoid-playwolf, for instance, requires at least qt 4.6. A slightly older version works with older qt versions, but I can't figure out how to make it build different versions depending on the qt version. If someone knows how to do this I would be glad to implement it. -Todd On Tue, Jul 27, 2010 at 6:37 AM, Lubos Lunak <l.lunak@suse.cz> wrote:

Eric and plasma-addons packages are in KDE:Distro:Factory, so if you want to help, you can contribute to the packages there.
from kde-look.org: plasmoid-flexible-tasks, plasmoid-playwolf, plasmoid-playwolf-elements, plasmoid-runcommand, plasmoid-yaSDP
If the packages meet requirements for Extra, just submit them - http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:KDE_Extra_repository .

You could possibly include both tarballs and so something like %if <new_qt> Version: <latest> %else Version: <previous> %endif See e.g. http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-kde/2010-08/msg00009.html for how to do a version check in .spec . The usual practice however is to do separate packages in OBS and enable building of them as appropriate (e.g. kdebase4-openSUSE* in KDE:Distro:Factory). -- Lubos Lunak openSUSE Boosters team, KDE developer l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
