[opensuse-kde] Desktop icon for a folder named "misc" calls yast instead
Hi, I have a directory named "misc", and I am trying to have a direct access to it by doing a drag and drop from dolphin in KDE as an icon on my desktop. This, very oddly, automatically creates an icon which appears on my desktop with the name "Miscellaneous" and the icon logo of "system settings" (instead of the standard folder logo). When I open the icon settings to check that, everything looks normal (even the icon logo is ok and is the standard folder one!) and it really looks like a normal folder access with the right configuration (it does for example compute the size of the folder under "General"). And when I try to use that icon by double clicking on it, it asked me the root passwd and then opens yast instead of opening a dolphin access to the folder! Any idea why this happens? I can basically create icons like this for any folder and it works fine, but the "misc" one has this very odd behaviour. Any hint is welcome. It looks like other have tried to reproduce this behaviour without any success. cheers and thanks! --------------------------------------------- note that I have already tried this on the opensuse forum and they advised me to post something here. --------------------------------------------- OS: openSUSE 11.3 64-bit -- Linux 2.6.34.7-0.5-desktop x86_64.
