Use of kontruct for offline installation
Hi, I want to install the latest kde on my computer which has not a broadband connection.... I want to use kontruct, and i can download the neccessary parckages on my other computer. If i use cd konstruck/kde make fetch It does download the packages i want (not all , why?). If i copy this file tree on ly other compouter and use make install it will try to download again the packages. Is anyway to force the kontruct to use the packages i allready downloaded? . __________________________________________________ Yahoo!; (spam); Yahoo! Because the right command for downloading all required packages is, as written in the README you should have read, "make deep-checksum".
If i copy this file tree on ly other compouter and use make install it will try to download again the packages.
Then you didn't put them into the with GARCHIVEDIR specified directory. Bye, Steve
