Hi, I experienced similar problem to what Grant Wilson described in SuSE 9.1. I also could mount the share without any problem from command line (being root), and could not browse it from KDE "Network browsing". Even when using the form smb://user@host/share I'm getting the error message "process died unexpectedly". Eventually I gave up and installed latest version of smb4k. Initially I still had a problem, but smb4k have good diagnostics and I understood that smbmnt should have SETUID permission, while smbmount should not. I set permissions as needed and smb4k works very well now. Try it. Regards, Mark ===== Mark Goldstein _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
