After some recent update I started getting this error message from the updates applet.
"Dependency resolution failed A package dependency could not be found. More information is available in the detailed report."
But "zypper up" works fine. Where is the 'detailed report' at? Any ideas?
'zypper up' is not fully up to task for rolling releases like TW.
'zypper dup --no-allow-vendor-change' is the proper way to update TW most of the time. When you use dup appropriately, the updates applet should stay quiet.
"Report" is /var/log/zypp/history
*Extremely* detailed "report" is /var/log/zypper.log
I tried your dup command. The updates applet is still complaining to me. zypper.log doesn't show anything at all happening. I was wondering if the updates applet has its own log somewhere. Maybe I can run it from a console somehow. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
