I have had a lot of luck with backintime. It has both gnome and kde backends, and overall has a lot of really good features.
Can it use rsync daemon/modules on a NAS, i.e. something like: rsync server-ip::module I could not find any other tool that can use them but luckybackup. I checked time-drive (duplicity) and backintime.
Does either of these backup apps support unattended non-user login backup? (system is on but no user is logged in)
luckybackup can create cron jobs.
I use kbackup from Extra for this, in cron.daily. It has worked well.
I think kbackup did not see any commit for a year or more, i.e. is unmaintained. Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
