as you may know the KDE Firefox integration is still based on old KDE4. A KDE Frameworks 5 and Qt 5 based version has been lying around in a git repo for a while, with just a few minor issues left to fix. Those should be gone now and so I'll ask all users of Firefox on Plasma 5 here to install this and use it for a while before submitting it and filing a delete request against mozilla-kde4-integration.
The new package is called kmozillahelper and for now living in mozilla:experimental:

Is that expected to impact KDE3 or TDE users?
It might, I have no idea about KDE3/TDE. If you have mozilla-kde4-integration installed, it's likely.
Currently it does not build for 42.1 but a fix for that is already submitted. (If you're affected by this: Why haven't you updated yet?)
Updated what, to 42.2? If so, this is why: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1269274
