I'd like to add the KDEPIM (4.3.5) from OpenSuSe 11.2 to an OpenSuse 11.3 install. Can someone suggest how to do that? I seem to remember that there was a package to install the older version of KDE 4.3.5. Do I just enable an 11.2 repository?
I assume you're interested in kdepim 4.3.5 because of the move to Akonadi with 4.4's addressbook. Yes. Any details on why? Missing group or list support?
Yes, Will, both of them.
I have a branched version of KDE 4.4 kdepim4 with kaddressbook from 4.3 patched into it as kaddressbook-legacy. Unfortunately the build has broken due to the move to 4.6 in KDE:Distro:Factory. If you have time to adapt the diff to work in KDE:Release:45 kdepim4 you could get it working again.
Well, I don't have a lot of spare time, but I'd like to try. Is the problem just that some dependencies that were in KDE:Distro:Factory have disappeared from that repository with the move to 4.6?
It's here: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=kdepim4&project=home:wsteph enson:branches:KDE:Distro:Factory
Thanks. I'll give it a look.
