Post-4.10.5 KRandr was replaced with KScreen, supposedly to make multi-display management easier. Maybe you should try using it instead of the Catalyst Control Center, as KScreen wants to override such pre-configurations as are found in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, which I suppose is how CCC probably works. Alternatively, you should be able to keep doing it the old way via putting this entry in kdedrc:
[Module-kscreen] autoload=false
Watch out for upgrades removing that entry if that's the way you go.
Thank you SO much! That did the trick. I also discovered the Configure Desktop->Startup and Shutdown->Service Manager->Startup Services checkbox for KScreen 2, which writes to the kdedrc config file. -- John Quentin Heywood heywood@american.edu -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
