My / partition got full, and so I moved the home and opt partitions like this:
init 0 ... cd / mv home /yfiles ln -s /yfiles/home home shutdown -r now
it worked fine, but when I did:
init 0 ... cd / mv opt /yfiles ln -s /yfiles/opt opt shutdown -r now
kdm start to freeze, and I can't start KDE.
At kdm.log and messages I can see just the usual system messages.
Any hint will be appreciated?
