For info I tried the following entries in the YaST dialog for alternative installation source...
Server name: ftp.suse.sk (as well as 147.175.1.23) Directory: i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_8.2/yast-source (with various combinations of leading trailing slashes etc.)
All ended up with the same error message :-(

Hmmm, it is possible, that Yast needs active FTP access, whereas a browser or fully grown ftp client works with passive ftp. If you have no high ports open (local firewall, router, proxy, etc), then you can view the site with konqueror (passive) but yast (active) fails (assuming my guess is right). Don't know it for sure, but perhaps it's worth a look. Daniel
