Are you using XFS as file system? If yes, I have the same problem. No idea what's causing it. My only workaround is to move the files to the trash first and then empty it via the Plasma applet. It still takes ages, but at least no other windows are affected then.

Hi all,
I am experiencing severe freeze ups when deleting files from Dolphin. The only quick may is to open konsole and use rm -f <filename>

Firstly, I prefer not bypassing, just in case I find that I need the file back again. However, I will give it a try.
And, my fs is ext4. Would it matter what file system I assign for the /home partition? I was considering using btrfs for my / partition and ext4 for the rest. -- Roman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
