Well, settings are very simple, without any encryption .... (you mentioned). I tried with Evolution with same settings (same names in account, same pop3&smtp servers) and it works. Then I found that problem is that KMail sometimes transforms a normal mail (from Inbox for example) to an empty mail. Sometimes, it moves forwarded message (for example) to Outbox, sends it, and then transforms it to an empty mail and put empty mail to Sent folder. But now, what made all this confusion, is that it sometimes happens in Outbox. The problem is that message is empty, and IT DOESN'T LOOK like an empty message, UNTIL YOU CLICK ON IT IN OUTBOX! (Then it looks as an empty message). Of course, that message, being empty in reality all time, blocks every next message you try to send. If I have 5 messages in Outbox, and first of them 'emptied', and try to move cursor from the first to the next - KMail 'empties' every next message. This doesn't happen if I click 3rd or 4th message, avoiding first after 'emptied'. So, the temporary solution is to copy messages from Outbox to tmp folder, and send them again, hoping that KMail won't find a reason to delete some of them. KMail bug? If so, any solution? Puh, that's strange. It seems that the machine isn't sending any data. But if it shows a server error message, then it had to be talking to a server.
Are you really sure, the kmail settings are exactly the same? Have you set the problematic kmail to use any encryption / authentication / etc.?
Have you tried to make a new user on the problematic machine, so that you can configure a whole new kmail to test with?

Hi Nikola!
So you have access to the SMTP Server that produces the message. What does /var/log/mail say if you trigger the problem?

Thank you very much for your response. I use SMTP, and both POP3 and SMTP server is local intranet server (in my case 10.0.0.1). I also have 5

SuSEs (8.1s unlike this 8.2, with their version of KMail configured with exactly same options) and they work without any problem.
