arts over a network

Hi, I'm running three computers here, two of which are over the network using xdmcp. Does anyone know if it's possible to get the remote computer to output its sound using my local arts daemon? I can see an option "Enable network transparency" but I can't seem to get the sound output started. Has anyone tried this? Pointers? TIA Anders
