We did not see this in earlier version of KDE i.e openSUSE 11.4. The Dolphin Part was completely rewritten for KDE SC 4.8/Dolphin 2.0.
And while I too have that cosmetic issue on startup, Dolphin 2 is a gazillion times faster than old Dolphin - saying anything else is just lies. so how do I get dolphin 2 I can only get 1.7 I installed kde 4.9.2 and no 2
