Seriously? Why? Is upstream responsible? Installing digikam creates a one line main menu item "Education", with a submenu containing "Science", containing only KDE Marble. Trying to uninstall either marble-kde or marble wants to remove digikam. :-(
We leave on earth, and there's outside caves some nice digital gadget which are able to record the position and orientation you take a picture (or video).
Thus it is useful to have a way to represent this localization.
But surely there are other ways to represent this localization (e.g. Google Earth). Even so, it should be **optional**, not mandatory. It should be left up to the user to install marble (or some other suitable application) if they really want that functionality. Heck, there are even web services that can do that without requiring any additional applications other than a web browser (which almost everyone already has installed). -- ============================================================== Rodney Baker VK5ZTV rodney.baker@iinet.net.au ============================================================== -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
