Hi. Is it possible to disable that buggy ksuseinstall stuff? I don't need a window telling me that software needs to be installed and spawns like a million processes of mplayer whenever I try to open a video file that plays just fine in VLC.
Bye, Markus
I don't know if there is a way to completely disable it, but ... I don't understand why ksuseinstall would be "spawning like a million processes". Do you mean when you click "no" when asked to install something? I don't see this behaviour. If you like VLC better than mplayer, make it the default in the KDE settings, I think that should work. and anyway: [opensuse-kde] Call for testing: on-demand package installation:
Lubos Lunak: I have a don't-ask-again in my TODO.
You should contribute in the thread (on this ML no less!) discussing this if you were experiencing issues, it's not helpful to just call something "buggy". Regards, Tejas -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
