When in 13.1m3/4.10.97 or 12.3/4.10.5 I close a session with Konsole left open as only app at 0,0 on new session start, Konsole appears at bottom of screen instead of top. Then when I drag it where it should have been in the first place, it acts as if I had double clicked the titlebar, maximizing the window instead of leaving it as it was. Are these new and expected behaviors?
And adjustable *feature*. systemsettings -> screen edges -> Window Management -> your choice
Took a while to figure out where screen edges was hiding, not in window behavior, but in workspace behavior. :-p
What an inane feature. Why should dragging any window to any screen edge have any effect on the window's size, or the inane misfeature prevent restoration of the window to its position at last session's end? Sheesh.
Undoubtedly someone noticed in in windz7. I found it on my wife's machine and immediately disabled it as she would have gone crazzzy. She believes a computer should only do what she wishes whether she or the computer knows how, or not :^). -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
