I just install KDE 3.1. When I use Kmail and try to reply to an html message, it quote the source code of the message and not only the letters. Is there any way to remove the tags ( "<h5>" , "<b>" ....etc) from the quoted message?
Best is to use *email*. Note: email != html, email = text
While I haven't had the time to install 3.1 yet, it would appear to me that Nick is sending text. He has received a message that is in HTML format and is wanting to reply to it. However, Kmail in 3.1 apparently didn't do a good job of converting the HTML to text, it simply imported it (tags and all). Therefore you are preaching to the wrong person. If by chance I have misinterpreted Nick's message and he is sending HTML, then he is simply a part of the majority. He is just attempting to stay compatible with the majority of users that use the software from Redmond. -- Kelly L. Fulks Home Account
