I use Suse 10.0. The update paths seems fine, I also checked it with another computer on my network. It seems that YAST do communicate with the update server, but that the list that it receives, shows that there are no available updates.
I think you are using YaST Online Update. It only has updates (patches) for packages officially released (supported) by suse. With SuSE 10.0, the updates are only for kde 3.4.2.
If you want updates to your kde 3.5 (from the supplementary repository), that's where Alvin's suggestion comes in: you have to refresh your Installation Sources _and_ 'update' your kde thru YaST->Software->Software Management (not YaST Online Update).

Yes, indeed I used to use YAST online update. I tried to add a update site with the following settings, but the system give me an error when I apply the settings, what am I doing wrong? Server and Directory Screen: Chosen: HTTP Server name: suse.osuosl.org Directory on server: I changed that from root upto suse/i386/update/10.0/patches (also each directory on its own.) Username: Anonymous When I apply it it comes back with this error: "Unable to create installation source from URL "http://suse.osuosl.org/suse/i386/update/10.0/patches". Details: ERROR(InstSrc:E_no_instsrc_on_media) Try Again?" Thanks for the help so far. Kobus
