Might be a good idea, however I'm not sure the Qt version these repos have been linked against (I'm at work, so I can't check that in detail, unfortunately).
And as far as openGL goes, a GTX760 and the latest nvidia binary driver should be good enough, hm?
NVIDIA has some annoyances with konsole (like in the early 4.x days) IIRC but more or less should be fine.
...but... how about a nvidia optimus on my laptop where the desktop is driven by an intel integrated controller...?
