Hi, Save the patch to "/opt/kde3/share/icons/hicolor" and as root go to the dir and execute the command "patch -p0 -E < icon_path.dif" On Thursday 20 February 2003 14:41, Dorin Titiriga wrote:

Hi,
I had the same problem. Just apply this patch to "/opt/kde3/share/icons/hicolor/index.desktop"
It adds the SuSE icon paths.
Seems that the packager of the KDE3 forget to apply this patch when build the rpm packages.

Ooops.... Sorry. Thought I was posting to the german list. My fault.... Wont happen again, promised ;-)
So.... I have the following problem: Since I updated to KDE 3.1 (using the SuSE-Packages, after all!) I can't get back my SuSE-icons. I know where they are (below /opt/kde3 aso), but I'm really not eager to assign each and every single icon by hand... It's not possible to install them as a new icon theme, either, since there's no icon-archive around... If anybody could help me... I'm really desperate...
Thanks in advance
Markus

Markus,
You might not get many responses because the SuSE KDE list is an English list. Most of us don't speak or read German. And we wouldn't want to destroy the translation by using babelfish.
You may have a better chance if it's posted in English.
