My understanding with the usage of zypper dup is only to be used when doing a distribution upgrade.
However, if you are switching from main repos to say KR45 repo then you would do something like: zypper dup --repo KR45
That way when you run zypper up to get updates it would pull from that repo for KDE-related packages and not from the main repos from openSUSE. I believe this is vendor stickiness iirc.
The problem is this file shouldn't be there: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/45/openSUSE_11.3/x86...
zypper search returns:
S | Name | Summary | Type --+----------------------+------------------------------------------+-------- | libGLEW1_5 | OpenGL Extension Wrangler Library | package | libGLEW1_5-debuginfo | Debug information for package libGLEW1_5 | package
but I do see what you mean. Doing a zypper info on ligGLEW1_5 shows its on the openSUSE-OSS repo.
Well, I was also trying to say that "osc ls KDE:Release:45 glew" would have returned an error... but I just missed it when looking. So there is no error in the OBS, but "osc wipebinaries --build-disabled KDE:Release:45" needs to be run by someone with permissions.
I've mentioned this in the #opensuse-kde channel on freenode's irc network. You might want to pop in and mention your findings as it appears you may be able to explain them a bit better than I :) -Matt -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
