What's not working: - Clicking on a link refering to a kmz file. E.g. on this page: http://www.kmzlinks.com/?offset=1&group= Click Now konqueror offers me: 'save as', 'open with' and cancel. Or when I right click on the link, the context menu offers me to open the link with e.g. kate, kwrite, OO.org writer, and other editors, but no GE :(
Why is that?
When trying e.g. "wget 'http://www.kmzlinks.com/redirect.asp?id=97&file=Atomium%2Ekmz'", according to the the server claims the mimetype of the file is application/octet-stream .
Shouldn't this be sufficient for konqueror to open kmz files automatically? At firefox offers to open the links with GE, konqueror should be able to do that too, isn't it???
I expect somebody must have already complained about this "bug", so I suggest searching http://bugs.kde.org if there's a request for a workaround. -- Lubos Lunak openSUSE Boosters team, KDE developer l.lunak@suse.cz , l.lunak@kde.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
