[opensuse-kde] libqt4 .i586 Why is it

I am trying to up date my KDE 4.7 to 4.8 and it seems like every package says I have to install libqt4 4.7.4-19.6.1@i586 This is even for libqt4 4.8.1-256@x86_64 Another i586 it is trying to install is libsoprano. I have tried really hard not to install any i586 packages, so if I have a x64_64 system does it require the older and 32bit package?
