Can anyone tell me what this means and do I need nbcluster enabled? Cannot find way to enable it.

There is no error in this output and you have nothing to do with ndbcluster.
Thanks only reason I asked was it shows in the mysql.err in ~/.local/share/akonadi some days.
I'll ignore it.
The mysql config used by akonadi tosses everything possible overboard to make the instance as light as possible. KDE PIM got a friendly mysql consultant to write the configu file. mysql is just a bit chatty about this in its logs. Unless you are getting akonadi startup errors don't worry about the contents of the log.
