Those are separate issues and since vlc is not shipped with openSUSE 11.3. Do you use the amarok version that comes with 11.3?
No, I use the version of Amarok that comes with 11.4 and it doesn't work with the 260.xx driver offered through the repositories and since some genius thought it would be a great idea to ship Phonon-GStreamer as default (which can't even seek!) one is forced to install Phonon-VLC if one ever wants to seek in a media file which means that all Phonon applications (eg. 11.4's Juk which in itself is not affected by the glibc bug) crash as soon as they launch. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
