In not one of my openSUSE Plasma5 installations do I ever get to see seconds in the digital clock in the taskbar/panel, even though I've selected show seconds in every case.
Does this not bother anyone else? I have yet to encounter this problem in any Fedora installation. What's the trick required to see seconds in TW's Plasma?
Still happening in TW 20160407: http://fm.no-ip.com/SS/KDE/clockSecondsMissingKF5.png
Take the Leap, Felix -

- I've got seconds on my clock O:-)
I don't have a clock. I have lots of clocks, because I have lots of installations and lots of logins. IIRC, *none* in Plasma5 on openSUSE show seconds, while *all* in Fedora show seconds. How is this disparity even possible?
Just a small attempt at humour at your expense, Felix; it is you who calls 421 a "Leap of Faith", yes?. Evidently, you are in a minority of one here, as everyone else's clock is showing the seconds, including one running the same TW release. Are your systems upgrades from previous versions that used an earlier Plasma version (or no Plasma at all)? If so, maybe some setting from a previous version is suppressing the seconds. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
