Hello, was someone able to install the kvim.rpm from http://www.suse.de/us/private/download/linuks/i386/update_for_8_0/ext ra.html? I installed the rpm (with no error message) but afterwards kvim didn't work. This means that the command 'kvim' resulted in 'bash: kvim: command not found'.

Sebastian, I too find that Kvim no longer works since 3.0.3 update. I didn't get any errors from the new program either, yet I cannot get anything when trying to run it from a console.
that *might* be possible that the kvim command (to be found in /opt/kde3/bin) is a softlink that points to /opt/kde3/bin/vim which should be in the kvim rpm but isnt. (which can easily be found when doing rpm -ql kvim)
seems to be a bad package.
and btw, grab the corrected rpm package I made from ftp://ftp.eregion.de/pub/ it's linked against kde 3.0.2 but you could rebuild the src.rpm. bye, MH
