OS 12.1 KDE 4.8 from Release 48 repo Only tested on _64 system
Open dolphin on a video dir with mplayer of ffmpeg thumbs enabled and I get intense HD activity and a delay in the availability of context menu actions (Eg; right click> delete)
After about 10-15 seconds normal functions return
The same issue only returns if dolphins has been unused for some time (In the same session) or if you start a new session (logout/login)
Difficult one to put a finger on. But if thumbs are disabled there is no issue.
*FYI: dolphin is getting much better though
