Hi Sabine, I followed the same procedure. Then, I also got also no sound. The reason was that the output on the mixer was muted. Did you look after those levels? Henk

Yes I did, everything is normal and has the right settings. As I mentioned, all I need to do is reactivate apply in the sound control panel area and it works. No additional action is needed, no changing of sound levels. Really weird I think. Maybe someone knows which scripts are called when the apply button is pressed? Sabine
