I've updated my system yesterday evening, which got me the new KMail. Today KMail deleted an entire folder worth of mail (and some of another) because the filter that sorts incoming mail there was set to also process the local maildir. Upon selecting that folder KMail apparently decided it should move the mails into the same folder they already were in, and in the process actually deleted them. I don't understand how it's even possible to program a mailmove that it breaks in this way, but on the off-chance that anybody knows knows how to reclaim the mails, please let me know. I have a backup from a month ago, so I'll get the old mails back anyway, but it actually started with the newest mails.
