I see just a black rectangle. No text. All my machines are running 4.7.2 But I have users in the forum using 4.6 showing me it working OK
OS 11.4 KDE4.7.2 _64 and x86 have same problem
I'm running over to a beta1 12.1 install to check there.
It's a matter of altering the colour of the background for the ToolTips (which are what you get when you hover over an icon). I have forgotten what the actual item is called in the Configuration settings and I haven't bothered to go back and try and locate it but it is part of the menu where you alter the colour of the text and the background when you are, eg, using the writer (for example, I use a deep blue background with white text in my documents).

My background is black and text is white for tooltips Why would that not work? Seems like a bug to me I actually just rolled back kde on beta 1 (which I had running KDF) back to the DVD kde 4.7.1 and the problem remains Gnome 2 in 11.4 is OK (FYI) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
