Hi, I'm having great difficulties getting KDE3 to run on my laptop (although KDM v3 works well!). I've used the exact same setup on my laptop as my desktop, but for some reason X bombs out everytime on the laptop Below is contents of .X.err file. I added two lines to the startkde to echo the path, kdedir, kdehome, etc.. These lines begin with Rik; I've added tried setting KDEDIR in the startkde file, to no avail. Anyone have any ideas? Rik.
