Hi, I have noticed the following problem with kdm in openSUSE 11.4. In the login screen if I select Menu -> Shutdown either by clicking with the mouse or by pressing Alt-S a popup menu appears with the four options: Turn off, Restart, Suspend and Cancel. In order to choose an option, in 11.3 I can use the cursor and return keys or the Alt-key shortcuts (Alt-T, Alt-R, Alt-S, Alt-C) In 11.4 that doesn't work. The popup menu appears but you cannot make your choice with the keyboard, you are forced to use the mouse. Is this a bug or a misconfiguration? How to fix it? Also in 11.3 from the login screen if I want a console login I only need to press Alt-N and I get it. In 11.4 after I press Alt-N a popup menu appears and I need to press Alt-O in order to get the console login. That would not be so bad except that this last popup menu is also affected by the previous bug: the keyboard doesn't work. Actually if I first click on the background image and press Alt-N then the keyboard works and I can press Alt-O or Alr-C or Return or Esc in order to proceed. But if I click in the username or password field and press Alt-N then the keyboard is inactive and I can only proceed using the mouse. Is there a way to disable this last popup menu and go to the console login after only pressing Alt-N as it was in 11.3?
