As a newbie I have the same problem - I can suggest 2 work-arounds 1) Set a long delay before marking mail "as read" 2) Use spam assassin to auto file as Trash & mark as read (Dont ask me for instructions on the later as I still havent mastered it fully myself !!! ) Hope it helps -- Its not the way that you say it when you do those things to me Its more the way that you mean it when you tell those things to me
