If you are using SuSE7.3 with KDE3, now you can have all the menu like you have in KDE2.2.2.
This is what I did.
1) uninstall susewm and susehelpcenter with YaST1 2) go to ftp.suse.com find the SuSE8.0 ftp version which came out 2 days ago. 3) download rpm files: susewm susehelpcenter and kdebase3-SuSE 4) install first susehelpcenter then susewm then kdebase3-SuSE each installation run SuSEconfig (you can install with command rpm -Uhv *.rpm see if you have dependencies, install what it's required. Or using YaST1) Do all these in mwm twm or fvwm2 but not in KDE3. 5) start KDE3, you will see welcome note form SuSE8.0 but never mind. 6) Now you can config everything with the control center.
I'm just trying out. Haven't faced any problems yet, if you find out something or know any better ways. We can help each other out.
