Because of the fixing of bnc#631306 zypper dup has started to show new "upgrades", and that shown a problem in the KDE:Release:45 repo:

Those packages would substitute the official, supported, ones for in some cases **older** versions. Looking at the project in the OBS I don't see them, but they are in http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Release:/45/openSUSE_11.3/x86... But those packages are from 04-Oct-2010, so it seems they should have been deleted and are there because of an error in the OBS. Could them be removed? CCing Adrian.
My understanding with the usage of zypper dup is only to be used when doing a distribution upgrade. However, if you are switching from main repos to say KR45 repo then you would do something like: zypper dup --repo KR45 That way when you run zypper up to get updates it would pull from that repo for KDE-related packages and not from the main repos from openSUSE. I believe this is vendor stickiness iirc. -Matt -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-kde+help@opensuse.org
