Problems installing SUSE 7.3 on my Laptop

Hi folks! Last week my dreams came true and I bought MY notebook. The last 3 days ì'm trying to install SUSE 7.3. But everytime wenn i boot the CD first everything works normal but wenn the PCMCIA SLOTS are scanned the installer shows ...done and then it stops doing anything. ???? THX Andi
