AFAIK, the default keys are the left and right arrows. However, in Kmail go to Settings->Configure Shortcuts to change this. Again, this goes for most KDE apps.

Thanks for replying. Left and Right are good for going to the immediate previous and immediate next messages. Obviously, what I want is to jump through one entire screen of messages or go to the top/end of my message list.
