Hi Have you tried whereis kcommander? Any reason that you downloaded the program instead of just installing it from the CD's? Bill On Monday 03 February 2003 19:44, Vince Turzo wrote:
I'm running SuSE 8.1. I downloaded and installed the kcommander3-3-0-281 RPM. YAST installed the package without warnings or problems. However, I'm not sure that I have the program. There wasn't a name installed for Kcommander with the other applications or file managers. No icons. No sign of Kcommander anywhere. How do I know if Kcommander really is installed? Do I need to run any special commands to launch or activate it? Please advise. Thanks. Vince
