I get this (openSUSE 11.3)
and then hangs indefinitely. There doesn't seem to be a Debian package for osc-source_validator, and the source tarball doesn't have any install script in it. So what to do (on a Debian system)?

I don't know the answer, You should ask on opensuse-buildservice@opensuse.org - it could be a debian only osc bug.
I tried it out again later in the evening, and it worked with only a fairly short pause. Perhaps it was a server problem earlier. -- David Jarvie.
