Might it be time now to setup a KDE:Release:49 repo? I would be willing to help.
Done, and you are maintainer.
Great! Thanks!
Please add qualified contributors too.
How do I decide who is qualified?
I am not trying to be sarcastic here, I have done a lot of work making packages, but I have no experience with those sorts of administrative decisions.

Hi Todd,
Please validate also the patches that are in KDF if they should be there for KR49 as well. I have tried my best to keep the patches in KUSC as up to date as possible, but didn't track any new patches that were pushed into KDF.
Raymond
Will do. The repo is set up and the packages are imported, but there are certainly some mistakes, missing packages, packages that need newer versions, etc. I've already added two new packages (pairs and svgpart), and changed the names of several packages to match upstream naming changes (likgoogle, libmm-qt, libnm-qt).
Great work! Thanks for taking this on and getting yourself started so well Please keep a note of package renames/removes vs KDF so when we move this to KDF and make it links, it goes as smoothly as possible.
There are still a few things that I think are likely wrong:
1. svgpart may not be the best name. It is the upstream name but doesn't clearly connect it to KDE
kde-kpart-svg?
2. Some packages might need version updates compared to what is in KDF. I tried to link to KDF as much as possible, but I already had to update akonadi-runtime, and there may be others I missed
That's ok, just do them as needed.
3. Some packages may no longer be needed. I plan to ultimately enable building for openSUSE 11.4 if possible, but only after the official release. Therefore there are some 11.4-only packages that are disabled right now. But besides that there may be some others that are just obsolete (I already removed akonadi-google, and obsoleted in kde4-filesystem). 4. I may have just messed something up, forgot to save the .changes entry, forgot a file, or something. 5. Raymond's before-mentioned patch issue. 6. There is still a wallpapers package in the upstream source repo that I have not had time to deal with.
These are business-as-usual problems - you'll get through them.
