Hi Kjell-Einar,
I have downloaded all the available rpms to my local HD.
* Hoped I could do the update automagically with Yast..(?) * Tried manually with RPM only to receive lots of failure/dependencies messages.
So my question is: Where do I start and how do I complete the job?
Depends on your gaminess. For me during the last 12 months (don't wanna be committed) a "rpm -Uhv --nodeps --force *.rpm; SuSEconfig" did it. Only once I had to reinstall older rpms from my SuSE DVD. But many might throw their hand's up in horror... ;) Kind regards Frank
