I have weird problem with Dolphin. I'm used to use FISH (fish://login@server/) to connect to SSH server to e.g. manage files on web. This has been working well for ages. But recently (KDE 4.14.6, openSUSE 13.2) it sometimes fails. I connect to some server, work there for a while and suddenly I'm disconnected. It happens only sometimes and on some servers. Server logs then show hundreds of new SSH connections within few minutes. I'm disconnected because of server settings (SSH connections limit, ...), but I blame Dolphin because of this problem, because in that time, no other SSH connection to particular server is opened and there is no reason why Dolphin should suddenly try to open hundreds new connections. Any idea what could be wrong?
It's not Dolphin, it's kio_fish (same underlying library used by other KDE components, not only Dolphin). When fish:/ fails, try if sftp:/ works better for you. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
